American Jewish Committee (AJC) Atlanta and the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta cordially invite you to a community-wide conversation on Repairing the World: Finding Unity in our Diversity, featuring Sister Mary Priniski, O.P., Ph.D and Rabbi Bradley Levenberg.

AJC's annual Repairing the World program celebrates Nostra Aetate, a 1965 Vatican document that revolutionized relations between the Catholic and Jewish communities.

About the Speakers:

Sister Mary Priniski, O.P., Ph.D. is a graduate of the University of Detroit; earned a Masters in Health Care Mission from Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis and received her doctorate in Missiology from the Union Institute based in Cincinnati. She has served in various social justice ministries including coordinator of Connective Ministries, director of the Commission on Justice of the Glenmary Home Missioners and executive secretary of the Labor Guild of the Archdiocese of Boston. She has presented at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart.

Mary is Project Coordinator for Gathering for Mission, a project of the Catholic Committee of the South engaging church leadership on all levels in dialogue with the voice and vision of Pope Francis. Previously she served as MidAtlantic Chapter Prioress for her congregation, the Adrian Dominican Sisters. She has spent most of her ministerial life engaging in social justice issues, particularly the rights of workers.

Rabbi Brad Levenberg joined the Temple Sinai clergy in 2006, serving first as Assistant and presently as Associate Rabbi. In addition to his service to the congregation, he also serves locally on the boards of the American Jewish Committee, the Camp Coleman Clergy Advisory Board, and the Atlanta Jewish Film Society, and he serves the national movement by sitting on the board of ARZA, the Association of Reform Zionists of America. Rabbi Levenberg is an alumnus of both Lead Atlanta (2008) and Leadership Atlanta (2017) and was recently inducted into the prestigious Morehouse College Martin Luther King Jr. Chapel Board of Preachers (2017) in recognition of his work in the arena of civil rights. He is the proud recipient of many awards, including the Michael Jay Kinsler Rainmaker Award for his work of inclusion and advocacy on behalf of the LGBTQ community.
